On my journey through Vietnam, rummaging through boxes to find the heritage of the past, I came across this single by Hung Cuong & Mai Le Huyen. The guitar intro was so inspiring that I had to do something with it. Since I am also inspired by many Afro-funk tracks from West Africa, I had the idea of creating a Vietnamese Afro-funk track.
